So I was on Twitter and there is a lady who I became friends with and she runs an online wedding blog and featured one of my recent weddings check it out!!!

“Everybody wang chung TONIGHT” Ha ha ha. We had an 80’s bake night, we made a bajillion baked goods for a bake sale the next day! We kept ALMOST forgetting to take things out of the oven. We also botched a batch of cupcakes but people still bought them We raised $160 for the new youth room decorations!! Then when we were done baking that night we went to my house on South Congress and ate pizza, and set up a “photobooth”. Some of the girls were a little camera shy so that is why you will see a lot of Me and Davielle (my best friend and assistant) also the ones of us were taken by one of the youth in the youth group Tera Latouf and then the ones of me were taken by Davielle (that is why some of those don’t have a logo).Thanks ladies! It was SUPER fun!! So this is the result of our late night antics!

When Jay and Carol Smith set out to plan their big day, it was more about style and finding intimate locations for the ceremony and reception. Mission accomplished, plus they also spent less than $10,000 for a wedding attended by 100 guests. “We wanted a small wedding to include people who are very close to us,” says Jay Smith, a family law attorney.

A friend told his wife about Chapel Dulcinea, a small wedding chapel near Driftwood. It was free. “Most venues cost thousands of dollars, but we were kind of on short notice and we also wanted something outside. The date we wanted was open and we booked it online. We couldn’t dream of a better place,” he says.

After the wedding, they drove to nearby Mandola Estate Winery for a reception in a banquet room that overlooked the vineyards. After the reception, another gift: Helicopter pilot and friend Ray Asgar whisked them off on a tour over Lake Travis.

“It was all like a movie,” Smith says.

Cory and I LOVE our engagement pictures!  We scattered wallet-sized prints on our reception tables around the centerpieces for guests to keep at our wedding… and now our house is filled with way too many framed pictures of us!!   Thank you for working so hard on them -  the colors really pop and the places you took us looked really cool!  They’re as much artistic as they are good memories.

I LOVE this couple! From the moment I met them I KNEW this was going to be a match made in photography heaven!!!! Thanks to Mary Sledd for passing on their info to me. Everything was gorgeous! Thanks to Hale House weddings So this is the couple that met at their office, they are so sweet and soooo in love it is very inspiring to my four year old marriage! Then at the end of the wedding the bride suprised the groom (well sort of – he found out with a helicopter ride to their honeymoon suite and I got to ride!!! AWESOME!!!! (Ok side note, it got so motion sick but would be willing to do it again if anyone out their has that planned for their getaway)

I shot this wedding with Gia Pham of Red Fly Photography at Laguna Gloria as her assistant. (I have shot at Laguna with her many times I LOVE this place!!)  Gia is great I love her! This couple was so sweet! GREAT fashion taste too!  The band was AMAZING! I loved the “props” they brought with them it made for such fun pics! As one of the bridesmaids and guest used one of the feather boas for a impromptu limbo. Everyone had such a great time!
