Georgetown engagement photos- sneek preview!

Hey everyone this is my brother with his new fiance! EEEKKKK aren’t they soooo cute together! So I am putting up a SNEEK peek for them to see their adorableness more to come!!

So they love Mad Men the show so what better way to portray them than to dress up in Mad Men clothes. P.s. they already had these clothes in their closet! I know my brother is cool I taught him everything he knows HA HA HA. As for the soon to be sister in law her awesomeness is her own doing (with the help of Tawny Tyler for hair and Maris Malone Calderon for makeup.

Then Misty LOVES cars and happened to have a mechanic’s shirt with her name on it! So we set up a scene where Joe “broke down” Misty’s mini coupe and she is fixing it! It is so super cute I will share more of those with everyone soon! We also took some infront of a vintage mini and THEN as we were packing up there was a 20′s restore model T looking car!!! So I will show them PROMISE this is just a peek for now stay tuned….

Austin engagement photos- at Roadhouse Relics

So I LOVE when a couple has a location in mind! It keeps me from going to the same places everytime! So Kassie called up Roadhouse Relics and they were able to set up an appointment for an hour worth of shooting. It was AWESOME! Oh also go all the way to the end to see a vintage Mercedes! It is SWEEET actually it is called “Big Slick!”

Austin Engagement photos: Amanda and Kyle

So we couldn’t have pleaded the weather man for a better day that day! It was suppose to be hot and raining! But instead it was breezy and nice. Amanda and Kyle you guys did such a GREAT job posing for me and laughing at my corny jokes! The best part of the day that still makes me laugh is our LAST shot “Blue Steel”. They kept doing this pose throughout the day just being silly with each other. Then we were wrapping up and Kyle was doing the face while Amanda was working her cute face in the best possible way. Instead of getting mad she joined in the fun and we then ended with the greatest “Blue Steel” photo EVER in my humble opinion! I hope you enjoy these photos! (ahh man I didn’t put my logo on these but if you steal them and put them on my site Kyle will come beat you up!- Right Kyle?

This was such a fun and cute couple! They laughed the whole session which made it so easy to get such GREAT shots of them naturally interacting with each other! Since it is so late I don’t have much else to say at the moment but I might come back and add in something a little more witty. Until then enjoy these fun images. Oh p.s. I used to “cross process” slide film back when I used film ( I would processes this by hand- Thanks Christopher Zaleski for showing me all the techniques.) well I figured out how to acheive a similar effect in photoshop and it just made my heart jump. Good times!

ok it is 3:09 I’m going to bed! I love all my brides but I am going to have to finish posting the rest tomorrow!!

Hello everyone! I got to photograph Sarah and John’s engagement session today. It was awesome! We laughed out loud and I almost cried (for a good reason they are sooo in love it almost made me cry! It was definatly a “holy moment” anyone seen Waking Life? Great movie you should see it if you haven’t!). Well with it being almost 1am in the morning I am going to post a few sneek peeks then show you the rest from our amazing time! So come back tomorrow to see the sequence shots that are toooo cute! My first dog at an engagement session- she was “paw-fect”

This is SUCH a sweet couple! They heard about me through the shmopsy Carol and Jay you remember their office romance. They are friends of Alexia the bride I photographed today with her handsome fiance Jeffrey. They were such a fun couple. I LOVED that they brought their beautiful sweet dog Jill! She is an older dog and VERY well behaved! It was not hard at all to get good photos of her! She is a natural . I loved how playful and up for anything Alexia and Jeffrey were! Thanks for trusting me guys even though I had you jumping off chairs and pretending to be frogs- it was a lot of fun!

Amy and Sunil’s engagement session in Austin Texas

So I shot an engagement session today it was funny we saw at least 3 other photographers photographing families, senior portraits and then 2-3 walking around with cameras looking for their subject . This couple is super sweet and totally in love! They were naturals in front of the camera! Enjoy!

Ok this next one I saw the “exotic” and thought since Sunil is from India that would be kindof cool to take a pic under the “exotic” part. Then when we got to the wall Amy and Sunil saw what I was talking about and started to laugh! They wanted me to include the “sausage” part too- Come on LAUGH it’s ok you know you want to!

Meredith and Mark’s Austin Engagement session

I was totally excited about this shoot! I had talked to Meredith previously and found out that they LOVE to camp! I thought how fun would it be to set up a campsite. But then they said that they do it so much that they have PLENTY of pics of them camping but Mark suggested we pitch the tent in the city- BRILLIANT! I loved the idea and ran with it! So opposite, fun, and unique! So enjoy!
