I am going to start a new category of wedding tips. This category will include tips that I have found recently as well as tips to make your wedding flow smoothly as well as photograph beautifully! So check back and click on the Category to get them all in one spot. Enjoy…

So at one of the recent weddings I was at they had the ceremony on the lawn of Mercury Hall. It had recently rained so of course their heels went through the grass and mud. Well I found this cool product today and thought I would share with you all…

Soulmates high heeler…

So these would be perfect if you have a venue that is rocky or grassy to keep your heel from sinking in and damaging your shoes. Also to keep from having to strain your calves to keep level to the ground. So if you like this idea check out their site here… Soulmates High Heeler

They come in black, clear, silver and gold…

I hope to bring you more fun tips like this later on so check in often for fresh material! I will be posting another wedding soon as well so keep your eyes peeled!

“Jessica was really fun to work with when we were taking bridal pictures around Austin. She also did a fantastic job on our engagement pictures and all of our guests loved the guest book she created for us! We also loved the photo she enlarged for our wedding and that was given to our parents. We had a great time the day of our wedding and look forward to seeing all of our wedding photos! ….Another bonus was the really neat accordion book she created for bridal pictures that I was able to give to my parents who LOVED it. She was very creative with all of the photo poses, is a hard worker, dedicated & passionate about her work and from beginning to end it was fun.”

“The pictures at our wedding were the most important thing to me aside from the dress. These will be viewed for many, many years and I will show my children and grandchildren. Jessica was absolutely amazing in taking our photographs. She paid attention to details and captured moments that I don’t even remember. There were times where I just forgot her staff was there taking pictures because they stay in the background and out of the way. I would recommend anyone to Jessica Monnich Photography.”

Ok so here is a warning! These are GORGEOUS!!! Hannah is SUCH a beautiful bride! I can’t wait for you guys to see the rest! Which reminds me of another bridal shoot I need to post since their wedding is over :) goody!! So back to Hannah, it had been raining VERY hard the day before so I was super worried that it was going to rain on the day of our bridals. She booked me over the phone almost a year ago and she is moving upstate after the wedding so there would not be any room for a redo unless it was the next day or something like that. Well SURPRISE SURPRISE, it was GORGEOUS! The sun was out the sky was an AMAZING blue with clouds dotting the sky it was a little humid but there was a wonderful breeze that managed to dry my sweat :) That is right I will admit it when I shoot I get really into my shoot and sweat like a women with hot flashes! I love it though it gets my adrenaline going and my right brain firing! I’ve decided I am going to be honest with you guys! I am a real person not a rock-star- most of the time :) ha ha ha couldn’t resist! I want my readers and brides to be real with me as well so I guess I have to drive down that street as well. And guess what I LOVE to crack jokes and tell funny stories to lighten the mood and get you to laugh! I am not the type of person that thinks they are “too cool for school” to humiliate myself to get a genuine smile out of you. :) Oh and also the owner of Villa Antonia has a old hound dog with BIG SOFT floppy ears and bowed legs- the cutest little old guy I have EVER seen!! So all that to say I couldn’t have asked for a better day to shoot on! P.s. she brought her best friend/ cousin/maid of honor (all one person :) and Mother! Loved it! They were so sweet and helpful! I don’t know if we would have gotten some of those big smiles without you two! Thanks! So note to you future brides PLEASE bring a friend to help with your dress but also to remind you of how your brother stuck gum in your hair the day before school pictures! Enjoy the sneak peek…

The next photo is a little clue as to where we went after Villa Antonia- It was AWESOME!!!

I wanted to share with you all some photos from my past. Over the next week I am going to share some old assistant photos that I have taken. As a way to thank my two favorite local photographers Heather Maybry of Eclectic Images Photography and Gia Pham of Red Fly Photography. This first set was one of the first times that I assisted Heather. They have taught me so much and I wanted to show you the photos that were a result of their time, love, patience, and skill that was given to me. So I want to thank you awesome ladies!

Thanks!! Enjoy!
