“I would like to thank you Al Gore and eharmony [for this marriage], because after all we all know that Al Gore created the Internet” said the Father of the Bride as the crowd ERUPTED in laughter! This couple met on eharmony and feel in love! They have been camping numerous times that is the reason their engagement photos are in a tent!
It was such a fun memorable wedding! I stayed a little longer than usual to photograph them at the Driskill Hotel in Austin Texas. They were such a laid back and fun couple that you could tell loved to hang out with each other and laugh together! Best wishes guys!
Vendors:
These guys provided food to flowers as well as a beautiful location!
This Event planning company is the creation of Aimee Villa, a true
“Southern Belle” with an eye for aesthetic detail. She was so helpful in keeping everything flowing and calming the bride when little things came up. Great job!
So the bracelet that is wrapped around the bouquet is the bride’s great-grandmother’s her great-grandfather gave
it to her when he was away in the war he made it from coins from the country he was in.
Bride walking with her Dad to the wedding ceremony in front of the beautiful Barr Mansion.
Look at how BLUE her eyes are! I didn’t enhance them in photoshop other than lighten a little. Otherwise that
is her natural BLUE eyes! AMAZING! Meredith you looked GORGEOUS! I love her Dad’s expression!
I was looking at how to photograph the musicians and looked down and noticed the heart on the bridge of this
particular instrument and thought it so charming. It plays LOVE!
A shot taken from the balcony at Barr Mansion of all the guests at Meredith and Mark’s wedding.
Wedding party admiring the love of the newlyweds- well most of them
They all had socks with their wedding position on them. CUTE! So in case you mix them up you know whose socks
belong to whom- or is it who, sorry not a grammar major.
Such a sweet hubby already helping his wife!
Mark liked this little angel, what better to include his angel in the shot.
This couple loves stars so their theme for their reception was based on stars. These were the place cards.
Adorable little topper of the couple’s heads cut out from paper kissing each other.
YUMMMMY organic food from Barr Mansion!
Father/Daughter dance, I LOVE his expression! You could tell how much he loves his daughter! To keep from
crying as he walked her down the aisle they both agreed to tell jokes on the way. It was so precious!
These were the yummy looking cupcakes that went with the cake from above- MAN I wish I could have some!
I could but I am allergic!
So my assistant had one for me and verified it’s yumminess!
Each table was a constellation, all the tables had a card with a Greek god of that constellation with funny comments on them.
I couldn’t stop giggling as I took this photo.
The bride’s gorgeous bouquet on one of the reception tables sprinkled with confetti stars.
I don’t know if this was a gift or if this little set was something they brought but either way it was ADORABLE and
how could I resist putting the rings in the hands of little Lego bride and groom?? You can’t you simply can’t!
Groom holding the bride as they danced the night away, I loved the detail of her dress!
I love her face in this shot totally love struck!
So they wanted me to follow them to their honeymoon suite to take photos.
When I found out they were doing this at the Driskill Hotel and we had permission I was
SUUUPER excited because usually you have to pay $200 to shoot there (unless they are having there wedding there of course)
but since they were staying there for their honeymoon night we got to take some photos! The shot above was
in the elevator at The Driskill Hotel.
Bride and Groom’s feet on the stairs at The Driskill Hotel.
